To say it's been a really long time since we've done a meet and greet would be an understatement, as I think it's been at least three years. With the Combine being in town this weekend, we felt it was time to get together, have a drink or two, and chat football.

It just so happens that Sports Illustrated's Peter King will be doing a tweet-up that night, so we're just going to piggy-back off of that. Here's what he said in Monday Morning QB today:

I'll be at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this weekend, and will be having a Tweetup Friday at 6 p.m. at the Sun King Brewery in Indy. Look forward to seeing you all with your draft and free-agency questions.

For those of you who haven't tasted the sweet nectar of Sun King beer, this will be a good way to try the whole lot of them.

Both myself (Matt) and Stew (@stewblake22) will be there, as we'll both need a few refreshments after our second straight long day covering the Combine. Because it is a Brewery, I think you have to be 21 to get in, so I apologize to our younger readers. I'll put on my Notre Dame hat so I'm a little more recognizable, and if you search around SB Nation a little bit, you'll find my mugshot.

We look forward to meeting some of you there!

Where: Sun King Brewery, 135 North College Avenue

When: Friday at 6 pm.

Growler fills are also only $5 on friday too, if i'm not mistaken

Osiris is quite possibly the best pale ale around.

$5?

Dang. Nice little deal there.

Their regular beers (Osiris, Cream Ale, Bitter Druid, Wee Mac) are only $6.50 anyways

cheapest growlers in town. Some of their specialty beers can get a bit pricey though.

Hmmmmm

That is still not a bad selection. No wonder Peter wants to hang out there.

Are you going? (P.S.- You should)

I regrettably cannot

wish I could though

Except

pale ale is disgusting.

Overall though Sun King is great.

well that's just, like, your opinion, man
Another Caucasian, Gary.

My local watering hole is tapping Pliny the Younger this Sunday. I don’t know if it’s worth standing in line that long.

always wanted to try Elder and Younger, but have never had the chance

Am I missing much? (i.e. is it worth the price/hassel?)

Damn!

Sounds like a great time…contemplating driving from Cinci to crush a few.

You should go

If anything, you can here Matt and Stew talk bad about me behind my back.

A fellow Buckeye!

From one Buckeye to another, we’d love to have you, Z. Oh, and like Brad said, you can listen to Matty and I talk smack about him.

Buckeyes. Brew. Brad-ripping.

Win-win-win!

O-H

Wish I coulda made it out there…love me some Indy! Hope your happy hour(s) was a good one…and it definitely sounded like your classic win-win-win scenario.

Hopefully in the near future.

I'd like to make it - that's just about a 20 minute drive from where I live on Indy's NE side

But…my wife and son might prevent my doing so. The little guy has been a monster as of late.

Pretty much this

My time really isn’t mine anymore.

Sadly

An internship till 8pm and a 4 hour drive will prevent me from attending.
