Hide behind your tweets guitar Jimmy…..your body language says it all…..If he is going to be cut, then just do it!!! Pleez!!!! Relieve us of this miserable back and forth speculations….Be a man!!!
The Colts are his business. He has to do what’s best to push his business forward and be successful. Jim has been clear from the start of this that he would love for Manning to be back with the team. And not once has he let up off that. This is Irsay doing everything he can to keep Manning under the circumstances. It’s simple, if Manning loves Indy as much as he says he does and wants to retire here, then he will accept a incentive laden deal that reflects his recovery process. If he thinks he can make more on the open market, then he will asked to be released. It’s a smart move by Irsay. Because if Manning leaves, its on his terms. Not because Jim forced him out. Much less retaliation from the fans in my opinion. Irsay is saying I’m willing to stretch this as far as he can without breaking the Franchise.
Hopefuly Irsay has the balls to announce they're cutting Manning today...
and leaving it up to him to return on a restructured contract. I personally don’t see the point in keeping Manning if they’re signing Luck, but hell it moves the story along.
Jim is definately working hard to put out the fires that are sure to come...
I think Manning should go….. wouldnt work for Jim Irsay for $50 million a year after this reclamation project. I just hope the Colts get what they want ( i.e. get LUCKY)….and he wants to go to a team who is at least 3 years out from a winning season….Good thing we will have the next best thing since John Elway…( who by the way ditched the Colts..) lets hope history doesnt repeat itself..( Karma is a B**ch)… I just think that Irsay needs to stay off of Twitter and act like an adult..( Owner of one of the winningest franchises in the last decade…thanks to # 18 on the field…#1 in our hearts..) Its time to put your big boy pants on…. Its fine that he thinks Manning is going to be a liability….but he needs to have that conversation with Mr Manning himself instead of all his little followers on Twiiter…..and giving information to the media that he shouldnt have….. Just shut up!!!!! PLEEZ!!!!!!!
Haha!!! Maybe with the "garage Sale" going on in Indy, Irsay could bumpit up to a $1.50 and a Snuggie!!!!
Manning isnt the first high profile player to be injured and sit out while making a boatload of scratch…. ( i.e. Tom Brady, ) , he hasnt embarrassed the franchise like “Big(DUMB) Ben” Rothlisberger has… but what the hell… He only has 1 Superbowl ring, broken a bunch of records….. gave Colts fans over a decade of the warm and fuzzies….What a Bum!!!! Its laughable… Pay the man because he is the "MAN"ning after all.. .
Really?

It has nothing to do with "being a man"

Irsay wants him back at the right price.
Of course, after paying him 26 million to not take a snap last year, “the right price” he has in mind may be around a dollar and twenty-five cents.
